Residential Landscape Design & Consultation Fees

CONSULTATION FEES ---

At Our Site: There is no charge; Client will provide accurate measurements and photos of area / areas in question. Consultant / Designer will review, provide suggestions, and give simple hand sketch. Consultation will usually last an hour.

On Your Site: There is a $45.00 minimum charge plus travel fee for outside of Local Service area. Designer will go to client's home, measure specified areas, and provide suggestions to accumulate data. Dependent upon job scope, 1 hour should be adequate. If additional time is required, billing is in quarter hour intervals at $15.00 ea.

An estimated cost for your project may not be provided at this visit, due to scope of service & material required.

You may be required to provide preliminary materials to us, prior to site visit.

---PROPOSAL FEES---

Proposals include an accurate 2D drawing and a 3D photo rendering of one area. Upon presentation of proposal, all drawings, images, and proposals become property of client.

---PAYMENT---

All fees (drawing or meeting) will be collected prior to commencement. All additional fees will be invoiced & collected at time of appointment.

Finished drawings cannot be given to customer without payment.

Complete proposal fee will be applied towards deposit, if landscape installation is preformed by Landscape Direct, at a rate of 10% per $1000.00 until complete cost of proposal fee is met.

CANCELLATION OF DRAWING - A full refund on the design fee is issued prior to the beginning of your drawing. If drawing has begun, refund will be pro-rated.

You may shop the competition, receive several free competitor quotes with drawings and we will combine what you love into one design, reviewing proper plant selections.

We will then provide a consultation at our site with advice & a material take off including installation.

--TAKE OFF BID--

If you were provided / purchased a drawing & or estimate from another Nursery / Landscape contractor, we will provide you a second opinion and estimate.

At Our Site: $55 per hour. Estimate of 2 hours minimum.

On your site: Normally not required. If required - $65 for the first hour - $15 ea. additional 15 min. Please provide same materials as "At Our Site"

Unit pricing of plant material & LS supplies are at no cost.

Re-imbursement of these fees will be at a rate of 5% of purchases, until complete cost of Take Off fee is met.

We are not responsible for other estimates if they are out of scale, contain bad plant counts, have inaccurate grade specs or are somehow wrong and don't represent your project correctly.
